On 15 September 2026, the Spanish coACTION Multiplier Event took place at Espacio META in Madrid, organised by Jaitek as part of the coACTION project.
Under the project’s guiding idea, “Learning Democracy by Living It”, the event brought together participants to discover the coACTION approach, exchange experiences and explore how democratic participation can become an integral part of everyday school life.
The event began with a welcome session and an icebreaker activity, creating an open and participatory environment from the very beginning. This was followed by an introduction to the coACTION project, its objectives, the work carried out so far and the next steps planned within the initiative.
One of the highlights of the event was the participation of IES Luis Buñuel, which shared its experience and good practices. This provided participants with a practical perspective on how democratic values, participation and collaboration can be fostered within educational settings.

The programme also included an interactive group dynamic designed to encourage participation, reflection and collaborative work. Participants had the opportunity not only to learn about the project but also to actively experience some of the principles that underpin the coACTION methodology.
Another part of the session focused on the DEMP and Treasury, presenting project results and discussing their role in supporting the sustainability and long-term impact of coACTION.
The event concluded with a feedback session, giving participants the opportunity to share their impressions and contribute their perspectives on the activities and topics addressed throughout the day.
The Spanish Multiplier Event represented another important opportunity to bring coACTION closer to the educational community, share the work developed within the project and continue promoting schools in which democracy is not only taught, but experienced through participation, dialogue and collaboration.
A big thank you to Jaitek for organising the event, to IES Luis Buñuel for sharing its experience, and to everyone who participated and contributed to making the day a meaningful space for exchange and learning.
Learning democracy by living it.
