Consultancy
Before setting anything up, we decide with you which format fits: online, in person or blended. From there comes which platform is needed -Moodle, Joomla, WordPress- and how it is configured. We also train whoever is going to run it, because a platform only we know how to operate is a dependency, not a service.
Materials
Instructional design: turning information into something that can be learned. Posting a document in a course teaches nothing by itself; it takes challenges, practice and checking.
- Content to read, interactive content, video, exercises and games, according to what each thing calls for.
- SCORM format and whatever else your platform supports, so that the material is yours and can be taken elsewhere.
- Designed for the phone from the start, which is where a good part of the studying happens.
- Accessible: subtitles, sufficient contrast and keyboard navigation. A course that cannot be followed with a screen reader shuts out part of the class.
Tutoring and facilitation
An online course with nobody on the other side gets abandoned. We provide the people who answer the questions -both about content and technical- and who keep the group moving: they propose, they ask and they get people taking part. That is the difference between an enrolment and actual learning.
